Shopify GEO. Real fixes, real measurement.
Show up when shoppers ask AI what to buy.
We fix the product data, pages and sources AI assistants read on your Shopify store, then measure the change with repeat runs.
- Fixes made in your Shopify admin and theme
- Every figure shows its run count and date
- A published list of what we will not claim

GEO, in plain words
GEO is making your products easy for AI to find, read and describe correctly.
Shoppers now put buying questions to ChatGPT, Google’s AI Mode, Copilot and Perplexity, and the answer is a short list of products. GEO, short for generative engine optimization, is the work that decides whether yours can be found, read and described correctly when that list is written.
Our GEO service
Check the path
We test how your products reach the assistants: Catalog, bot access, policies and product data.
Fix what is documented
We repair product data and pages from your real facts, and plan honest coverage outside your site.
Measure with repeat runs
We re-run your shoppers’ questions and report shares with the run count, so you know what moved and what is noise.
The problem
Four ways a Shopify store loses the answer.

Cited, but not recommended
An assistant can link to your page and still recommend a competitor’s product. We count both outcomes in every run.

Page, markup and feed disagree
When the page, the structured data and the product feed tell different stories, an assistant can quote the wrong one. We compare all three.

The bot cannot get in
A firewall rule, a robots.txt line or a page built by script can keep the bots of OpenAI, Google or Perplexity from reading your products.

Nobody is measuring properly
Answers change from run to run, so one screenshot proves nothing. Without repeat runs you cannot tell a gain from noise.
What we do
Seven jobs. We scope the ones your store needs.
Baseline
Your shopper questions, run 20 or more times on each engine that matters, with the raw answers saved and dated.
Not a single score or a rank.
Supply path check
Catalog eligibility, agentic terms, channels and policies checked, so your products can flow to the assistants.
Not getting you listed. Shopify lists eligible products itself.
Product data repair
Titles, descriptions, variants, barcodes and attributes fixed from your real facts, with page, markup and feed matching.
Not invented attributes or barcodes.
Bot access
Which pages the bots of OpenAI, Google and Perplexity can reach and read on your store.
Not an llms.txt file. Shopify serves one already.
Product and collection pages
Pages with the decisive facts first, written from your real specs, sizing and photographs.
Not pages written only for machines.
Outside coverage plan
Where independent sites already talk about your category, and a plan for earning true coverage there.
Not bought reviews, placements or forum posts.
Wrong-answer repair
If an assistant quotes an old price or a wrong policy, we save the answer, find where it came from, fix your side and check again.
Not forcing a correction. Each engine decides.
Not sure which you need?
Send us your store address. We will say what we would check first, and tell you plainly if the answer is “not yet”.

How it runs
Your first quarter, week by week.
A typical first quarter. Real dates move with your approvals and your theme.
Weeks 1 to 2
We look. Nothing changes.
We check how your products reach the assistants, what the bots can read and how your product data holds up. We agree your question list with you and take the first runs.
You getA written findings list, each finding with its evidence.
Week 3
You choose.
We rate every possible fix: documented, plausible, or folklore to skip. You pick what goes ahead.
You getA short fix list you have approved.
Weeks 4 to 8
We fix your store.
Page and theme changes are built on a duplicate theme, so you can read them before they go live. Data and feed changes wait for your sign-off.
You getChanges live on your store, each one logged.
Week 10, then monthly
We run it again.
Same questions, same engines, same method. We show the change with the run counts and say which differences are noise.
You getA report you can check, and a decision on what next.
Not sure what week 1 would involve for your store?
Talk to us about GEOWhat you get every month
A report you can check, not a score to trust.
- A saved list of shopper questions, run on each engine, with the run count printed
- A list of what changed on your store this month
- Your first-party data next to the runs: Search Console, Analytics 4, Merchant Center
- A decision on what to do next, including “nothing”
How we work
Built for a skeptical founder.
Shares, not ranks
We print the run count with every figure and never report a share from fewer than 20 runs.
We fix, not just report
Changes are made on your store, on a duplicate theme first, with your approval.
We tell you when to wait
If your basics are not ready we say so and hand you the list. Sometimes waiting is the right call.
Our published no-list
What we will not do, and why you can hold us to it.
See the reasons and sources →- Promise citations, a rank, traffic or revenue
- Sell an llms.txt file or schema as a growth lever
- Buy or fake reviews, mentions or forum posts
- Hand you one visibility score with no method behind it
- Charge on “AI-influenced revenue” you cannot check
- Publish a GEO result unless it names the store, the period and the method, and we have permission
Is it for you
Who this suits, and who it does not.
It suits you if
- Shoppers compare your products before they buy.
- You want the evidence behind each fix, not a score for the board.
- Your product data, policies or pages are the weak spot.
- You can live with results that turn out flat.
It does not suit you if
- You want a promised rank, citation, traffic or revenue figure.
- You need results by a set date. We found no study that supports one.
- You want us to buy reviews or placements.
Questions
Straight answers
GEO versus SEO: what is the difference?
GEO means making your products easy for AI assistants to find and describe correctly. Google treats its side of this as SEO. What changes is how you check it: assistants return lists that vary from run to run, so we track how often you appear, not where you rank.
Is my Shopify store already in ChatGPT shopping?
OpenAI says Shopify product data already reaches ChatGPT through Shopify Catalog. Shopify sets the conditions: US customers, eligible products, the agentic terms accepted and complete store policies. Meeting them makes you eligible. It does not buy a spot in any answer.
Will you guarantee citations, rank, traffic or sales?
No. In a 2,961-run test the brand lists barely repeated, and OpenAI says picks depend on each shopper’s query and context. What we promise is a method, dated evidence and fixes you approve before they go live.
Do I need an llms.txt or agents.md file?
Not from us. Shopify already serves /agents.md, /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt for every store, and Google says it ignores such files.
How do I know it is working?
Two ways. We re-run a saved list of shopper questions and report shares of runs. Beside that we read your own Google data: Search Console’s Generative AI report, the AI channel in Analytics 4 and Merchant Center’s AI insights. Each covers only part of the picture, and we say which part.
How long until I see results?
No study we found gives a reliable time to results, so we quote none. We re-run the same questions in week 10 and show you what changed.
More questions, with the source for every number: read the evidence page.
- AI shoppingWhich products AI recommends in your category, and why a rival wins.
- Agentic commerceWhat is live, pilot or withdrawn, and what is left to you.
- Technical SEOCrawling, indexing and AI crawler access on Shopify.
Where does your store stand?
